This was at a fair in the central piazza in Recanati. After Eric was left alone for a while with Marco, who remained excited about his bottle, a young boy who had just been talking to his parents came up and asked "Dove รจ la mamma?", as in "Why isn't his mom here to give him a better upbringing?"
