We're perenially late with our holiday card, and this year we just decided to embrace it. Hope at least we get a smile from our recipients.
(After the fact, it occurred to us that it would be nice to share some news, so here goes. See the photos and videos in the blog as well.)
All is pretty much ok in the Verhoogen-Guzzini household. Sofia has just officially made the transition into teenagerhood, and is showing some of the common characteristics, but happily she still seems to enjoy hanging out with the family. Singing is her big thing. Her choir has now had two concerts at Carnegie Hall as is preparing for a third in April. She was also in an off-off-broadway kids production of 13: The Musical. Marco is eight and seems to be flourishing in the third grade at PS 166. He has really gotten into skiing, and we have gotten out on the slopes several days this year, most recently at Mt Peter with his friend Cooper. His other big interests are art and soccer. As for careers he would like to have, he is currently thinking photographer, paleontologist, artist, and engineer. Stay tuned about that. Annalisa has been baking up a storm and working on a new freelance architecture project, and Eric is struggling, as always, to raise his research productivity but still enjoying his job. We'd love to see people when you come through NYC. Abbracci!
